Tyrese Haliburton put together a historic performance as the Indiana Pacers opened a 30-point lead in the first half and held off the struggling Boston Celtics, 123-98, on Wednesday night. It's the latest in a string of frustrating losses for the Celtics, who have now dropped four in a row.
Haliburton finished with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists for his first career triple-double, becoming the first Pacers player to accomplish the feat since Domantas Sabonis in 2019. The 23-year-old star, who was an All-Star this season, shot 12-of-19 from the field and added three steals.
