Cleveland Cavaliers Pull Off Historic Comeback in Game 7

Cavs Stun Warriors to Advance to NBA Finals

In a thrilling Game 7 that will go down in NBA history, the Cleveland Cavaliers pulled off a stunning comeback to defeat the Golden State Warriors and advance to the NBA Finals. Facing a 16-point deficit with just over 10 minutes remaining, the Cavs rallied behind the inspired play of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland to secure a 117-111 victory.

Mitchell Leads the Charge

Mitchell was unstoppable in the second half, scoring 22 of his game-high 38 points after the break. He repeatedly attacked the Warriors' defense and drew fouls, converting 10 of 12 attempts from the free throw line. Garland also played a crucial role, hitting a pair of three-pointers in the final minutes to seal the win.

The Cavaliers' defense was equally impressive, holding the Warriors to just 38% shooting from the field in the second half. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, who combined for 54 points in the first half, were held to just 26 points after the break.

The Cavs' victory marks their first trip to the NBA Finals since 2018. They will face the Boston Celtics in a rematch of the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals.
